In this Module you will learn how to turn your tables of data into charts that can be inserted into Microsoft Word or PowerPoint documents, or just about any other document you choose. This gives your statistical information great impact through the power of visual graphics. The chart Wizard is a powerful tool that will allow you to create visual images in a matter of seconds. Please walk through this module and then test yourself using the activities located in resources page listed on the left hand menu or the Module 4 tab listed above.

In addition to the online Excel module, you will also find a downloadable PDF document that allows you to work without having a web page open, and video clips that will provide a more active walk through for you to follow.

After this lesson, you will be able to:

Select a range of cells to identify the cells designated for conversion to a chart
Use the Chart Wizard to create the chart
Select a specific chart type for use
Add a title to a chart
Modify cells to adjust the chart after it is created
Place the finished charts on your worksheet or on a separate worksheet
