Saving Excel Workbooks
In this section you will learn where to find and how to save a workbook in Microsoft Excel for Mac.

To Save for the first time :
1. Go to File > Save as: -(This will allow you to name the file)
2. You should get a dialog window that looks like this:

3. At this point you need to name your file -unless you want the name Workbook.

4. Once you have named your file, make sure the .xml is after the name. This 3 letter suffix tells the computer what program it needs to open this file with.

5. Now, make sure you know where you are going to save the file. It may be saved anywhere, but the default will probably be Documents. I like desktop because I know where the file will be, and I can always move it later.
6. Now, you click the save button.
You will notice that your workbook title has now changed to the name you gave it

and there will be a new file on your desktop.
