Printing Excel Workbooks

In this section you will learn where to find and how to print a workbook in Microsoft Excel for Mac.

To Save for the first time :

1. Go to File > Print Preview: -(This will allow you to see what you are going to print before you print it.)

2. You will get a window that looks like this: (This window shows you what your workbook will look like before you print it.)

If you like what you see, you can always click the Print Icon Print iconand move to step 4.

3. If you don't like what you see, you can always close the preview box and make changes.

I want to outline all of the cells, so I will quickly show that process here as well.

You want to select your cells:

Now click the Outline Icon Outline Cells 2in the Formatting Toolbar.

 

You will see this menu come out:Outline Cells 3

Choose the All Borders icon ...... Outline Cells - All borders

 

Now, Your cells will look like this

Go back to Print Preview Print Preview Icon, and this is what you will see:

4. Now that your workbook looks the way you like it, click either the Print Icon Print Icon, or go to File Print:

File > Print

 

 

5. At this point a dialog window will pop up asking you where you want to print, how many, etc.

6. In this box, you state how many copies of you want to print.

7. In this box, you will choose your printer. (You may be closer to one of several printers in your work place or home.)

8. Now, click the print button Print button, and you will see your workbook come out on real paper.
